I know this post isn't really helpful but if you guys and gals want it easy buy the game on steam its currently on sale for under $20(US). The steam version won't need all the extra steps other than replacing a file. I know its technically 'free' of gamepass and I'm not getting paid in anyway to say "buy it on steam" I actually also played it on gamepass and spent time here trying to get the trainer working but it became unplayable to me without reinstalling because I get a notice saying I dont have EAC installed after the new update so therefore can't play. it is on sale till november 24 so yah.

otherwise just keep following the step on the video.

Game version 1.16 on gamespass

Prior to the current patch, the trainer was working for offline play without an issue. This last patch strengthened the easyanticheat.

I haven’t tried all the trainer options, but the few that I usually use (health, no reload, no weapon sway, and fast cool downs) are working using this method for this patch.

1. So that I can just hover over the network connections file window per the video, I start the game before I do any of the following and make sure that I am not on fullscreen and there is enough real estate to view outside the game window. Then I exit the game.

2. Have the Network Connections window open and ready to re-enable ethernet when due. I have it as a small window the top right of my screen.

3. Open the correct cheat happens trainer 1.16.0.0 (GAMEPASS) and disable the overlay. I have it on the bottom right of my screen.

4. Delete the easyanticheat files in the Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat folder.

5. Disable the Ethernet like in the video (or the WiFi). This step can be done before the 4th step.

6. This is stupid. Don’t click on the game icon on the desktop, nor the play game from gamespass program, nor the Microsoft store link to open the game. Right click on the game icon on your desktop and open it as administrator. I am not knowledgeable enough to understand why this would work but it does for me. Maybe my admin rights settings allow it?

7. Then follow the rest of the steps in the video. I do the following.

8. As the “people can fly” logo shows up, I hover over the network connections folder and re-enable the ethernet. Ignore the warnings about the limited online play or whatever it says.

9. Some other recommendations were to activate the trainer at the “outriders” planet screen but I do it afterwards when my character shows up. Either F1 or clicking on the link at the bottom of the trainer works for me.

10. Start/continue your game chapter and hot-key activate the trainer options or do it vice versa. I noticed that for this game, when you pause in-game, it will allow you to hover outside the game window and mess with the options in the trainer window so can be done this way also.


Maybe some other minor variations would work but I wanted to share what worked for me.

The other files in the Roaming folder never showed up for me prior to nor after the last patch, but the easyanticheat folder self-populated whenever I opened the game while connected online and would never allow the game to open when offline if deleted.

Also, like every other CH trainer, make sure your anti-virus allows the trainer.


I don’t know if any mods/admin are reading, but thank you for all you do for this site. My kids make fun of me for using cheats, but I don’t really care. This really allows me to play more games more efficiently.

I was able to get this to work for my single player save, thank you CH for the great trainer!

This trainer does not work when following the steps in the video to the letter and i launch the game it sasy "esc not connected to the internet and game does not launch from xbox gamepass app if internet is disabled

Trainer on gamepass works perfectly. Installed it today, have played all day using the exact way as shown in the video and apart from a couple random bsod it’s been perfect.
Have run it from desktop, from the gamepass app, from the store and all work fine.

update trainer for the DLC worldslayer on gamepass please.

So far we have not received a single update request or new trainer request for base game or WorldSlayer on Gamepass which leads me to believe that it likely already works.
