Playing offline is always possible in most games, if you do not only play MMO, Online shooters and coop games.
And there are a lot of games that just do not need any internet to play then. Especially if you use the www.gog.com platform e.g. which strips protections and makes game playable with modern hardware, even "good old" ones 😋

Cheats should always be working offline as well. You do not always have a way to be online (sitting in a train with bad connection or no Wifi, at least in the EU this happens very often).

But I agree that most of the time you'll be gaming at home or somewhere where you are able to get online.

Imho there should be a way to get the offline keys, like you provide them at the kickstarter platform atm, later on as well. Some might miss them and they should not be something "special", and at best they should be free for lifetime (and plus) members. This would be fair in my opinion and would be the similar way it works now (afaik).

We have already stated that offline keys will only be available to Lifetime PLUS members or those that purchase the packs of 20 during the Kickstarter.

Offline keys for current trainers will not work with AIO and vice-versa. Old offline keys will work with old trainers and new for AIO. Still the same, one key for all trainers.

Not to be pushy or anything but wouldn't it also be better and nicer of you to let the standard lifetime members have access to the offline keys for the AIO version too personally I wouldn't say it is all to fair to give it to only the lifetime plus members
Sorry if this hits any nerves that was not my intention PWizard

It doesn't hit a nerve. The reality is that this AIO is much more likely to be abused so we we weren't going to offline offline keys at all so we made a decision to allow Lifetime PLUS members to download them unless you purchased a pack of 20 (or more) during our Kickstarter campaign.

"But I agree that most of the time you'll be gaming at home or somewhere where you are able to get online."

Even if, as others stated that they wanted to use trainers offline, on the train whatever, then almost everyone has a smartphone with an internet connection I just don't believe that someone travels here without a smartphone, not in the EU and USA at least.

The trainers when they authenticate just need to send a simple message encrypted code. You do not need a stable 1000/1000 connection for that. A simple 3G connection can do that thing, wherever you are.

But I guess the AIO, will require a connection all the time, it will be like steam, you access your trainers. But still, it does not require 1000/1000 mega/bit. If someone travels often, a good idea is to buy a 3G/4G USB stick with a subscription of 5 GB data, for example per month, it cost nothing these days. That is the solution for you who travel.

And I agree with PWIZARD with the "abuse". The only proper way to protect software today is with online "authentication". This is how all games are protected today, except GOG games, and what? GOG games get shared in all places for pirates. I don't understand how GOG works, what the agreements are.

This is 2021, forget about offline authentication, like on games in 2000-2005 that had CD protection. Where you had an offline key.

Offline mode has been confirmed for the app. It will only be available to Lifetime PLUS subscribers due to security concerns, but it's currently available as a $10 add-on in the Kickstarter project for anyone below Lifetime PLUS. Each $10 purchase will get you 20 offline keys. Lifetime PLUS subscribers or $150+ backers will automatically get 20 keys to start.

    Hello PWizard and everyone

That's disappointing to be honest. I thought the lifetime subscription included everything I wanted including the creation of the offline keys with the standalone trainers. When I purchased lifetime few days ago the comparison and purchase page said that plus don't have any extra real features over the normal lifetime. I think you should put info there that for the plus you will have the option to create offline keys and for anything below plus you will have to purchase them individually.

I frankly don't like recurring payments to go plus, I know you guys deserve it though.
I don't always have internet and I know I will frequently need offline keys in the future. The moment I saw CH supports offline keys without extra payments and has a lifetime non-recurring subscription I immediately purchased lifetime.

Hopefully in the near future you guys can come up with an idea to make it possible to create offline keys for Lifetime (non-plus) members.

Please consider this as constructive criticism and I am really not angry or anything. 🙂
Cheers and keep up the good work!

yeah i am also concerned about this offline key situation, i been a LIFETIME member since 2012(before PLUS), and thought i would never have to buy another membership to keep what i already have access to.

@Xperiahole: With current lifetime subscription you get access to everything at the time you purchased it. Even with AIO you can still use offline keys for standalone trainers. Also in the future you will still get access to all trainers and all options in the AIO. But for AIO it requires plus or $10 addon (single time payment). Actually for $10 you get offline keys which are valid as long as your hardware doesn't change, but if it changes it can change up to 20 times without you have to spend a single additional dollar. That should last a very long time.

Please keep in mind that unlike our competitors we don't charge for mobile app, we don't charge for single trainer options and we have lifetime payments. I completely understand that some people would prefer it to be different but I'm really convinced that it's still a very fair offer. And like PWizard said there are mainly other reasons than money why we decided this way.

    Thanks for your reply 0x90.

My main concern is that standalone trainers will be gone once the AIO is released. I remember PWizard said that standalone trainers won't be available once the AIO is out (please correct me if I am wrong). I still prefer standalone trainers to be available individually in my game folder (with the ability to create offline keys) instead of installing the AIO app. If you can confirm that standalone trainers will still be available to download even for new and future games after the AIO app is released then I definitely won't complain.

    Thanks.
