''Keep in mind that only Lifetime PLUS subscribers will have access to OFFLINE KEYS for our new all-in-one app''

i really hope im misreading this, or its poorly wordet, but basicilly, as a normal lifetime purchase, you're preventing me from using my paid for software, when im without internet?

if so, i, and i can imagine, alot of others, won't be happy

That is correct. You can also purchase a set of 20 keys (or however many you want) for $10 each during our Kickstarter. We are doing this for security purposes and to prevent misuse of the new app. We never promised that Lifetime members would have unlimited access to offline keys or that offline keys would even be offered at all, which was initially our plan with the new app.

im sorry, but lifetime member acces to trainers, means lifetime

it doesn't mean lifetime but with restrictions when we feel like making some

it was one thing when you started with cosmetic ****, for addet payment, but this, just no

i get it, you have to continusly make money, BUT, you cannot force additional payments onto already lifetime members, to have a working product, even if its for 0,000000001 % of the time

i already know im gonna get chewed out, but im gonna speak my mind on this matter anyway

You are welcome to speak your mind all you want. We have held up our end of the Lifetime deal which dates back 20 years for the price of $19.99, you can download any and all trainers from the site which is ALL that was promised. You knew up front that they must be authenticated online, but we graciously decided to offer Yearly and Lifetime members access to an offline key. This is an entirely different app in which having an offline key could be used against us and thus the requirements are higher. We *might* change our stance on this in the future once we see how things go when the app is released, but I don't want people to have unrealistic expectations. Again, anyone can purchase a set of 20 or more offline keys for $10 per pack while our Kickstarter is going on. If you think that you may need to use the AIO offline, I would suggest doing that. Most other sites, none of which even offer a Lifetime subscription to begin with, that have an AIO app require online access in order to use the product. I can only think of one which offers any type of offline capability and they release about 10 trainers a month, not 300 like us. Any more questions or feelings that you need to get off your chest, please do so and we will be happy to answer them. But in our humble opinion, you have gotten much more than your money's worth when you purchased your Lifetime subscription in 2011. Maybe I'm wrong.

What is this offline key (20)? I can download 20 keys to use offline? But what is a key? The same as a trainer? Does it mean I can download trainers for 20 games to use offline? If not, what are they?

Also, if I pledge one of the higher tiers. Will I get 20 keys more often? Lika once a month? Or is it just 20 keys in total just like the cheaper tiers?

    " ... lifetime member acces to trainers ... "

You will still have unrestricted access to all trainers, as much as you wish. Please explain what's confusing about that.

"... but with restrictions when we feel like making some ..."

This is going to sound rather harsh but uh... it actually does. The staff can arbitrarily decide to run the show HOWEVER they wish. If Pwiz really - like honestly and truly - really wanted to strip all members of current access and mandate a $50/month minimum subscription (like some other sites of this uh, nature) he could. Would such a situation ever happen? Probably not, because that'd be a great way to sink this business but the point remains that he most certainly can.

" ... you cannot force additional payments onto already lifetime members, to have a working product ..."

I already answered that, but for sake of completeness - yes they unfortunately can. They can make whatever price requirements they want, just like how you can make whatever payments you want. They have executive power over their application, and and you have executive power over where your money goes.

    " ... if its for 0,000000001 % of the time ..."

I know, that's a random number pulled out of the air - but your implying something specific by saying that. You're leading us to believe that what you mean, is being in an offline situation is SUCH a rare occurrence it practically doesn't even happen. Keep in mind we can not see past your post beyond what you've written, we can only piece together the concepts and make assumptions. I ask you this, if you do in-fact believe that it is such a rare occurrence, why do you have such a strong opinion on it? Push-back for the sake of it? Discussion of a mere technicality or the principle of the concept? Does the additional subscription not have value, is what the subscription offer not enough, or something else?

Regardless of all that, there is something else underlining this whole back-and-forth regarding offline and I believe that's understanding the difference between what should be rightfully classified as a "user-problem" and what should be classified as a "service-problem". If you are having technical problems with a trainer, that is to say it's giving complete gibberish errors on launch and won't attach the game - that would be a service-problem. If the trainer does nothing no matter what keys you press and you've done all the troubleshooting and still nothing, that would most likely be a service-problem.

BUT: if your particular area of the world or your particular PC situation has internet outage for whichever reason that you might have, this is unfortunately a user-problem no matter what you might believe. The important distinction between the two classifications in this instance, is that no amount of support from the team will fix what can only be described as 'your problem'. Yes that's blunt, and yes, I'll go so far as to say tiptoeing on the line of flaming, but no matter the options given to you by the team the issue is still on your hands, and can only be fixed by your hands. They can offer you temporary solutions to something that ultimately ONLY you have the capacity to solve on your end.

I really don't want to get into the ever-lasting never-ending discussion regarding internet outage as a whole because that's way off topic so I'll leave it at that.

VERY well said Ubersoldier, you definitely lived up to you alias on that one. I don't think I could add any more to that. Thank you for taking the time to write that up.

OK, that is like 20 questions inside of a question inside of a paradox. Not sure where to start. Maybe learning how offline keys work today as it will be pretty much the same, the only thing that changes is who gets them.

This is a... tiny thing that bugs my OCD.

For games which have sequential games (Final Fantasy Series, Dragon Quest Series) would it be possible for the trainer to put it in correct numerical order? If not, its alright, but its a peeve on a few games. 😛
