I'd like to be a Lifetime of Lifetime Plus level, but because the economy is not doing well these days due to the impact of COVID-19. So I don't have enough money to pledge to become a Lifetime of Lifetime Plus level. If I have 3-4 months, I'll make enough money. I would definitely choose to be a Lifetime of Lifetime Plus. Unfortunately, I couldn't make money in time. But I will continue to support the CH web.

You are certainly entitled to your .02 but I'd have to say, it looks like the Community-at-Large disagrees. I've been a member since 2008 and I get along fine with the staff. I have nothing but respect for these guys.

The initial project goal was $11,000 and the current total pledged by members is now right around $144,000. That's approximately 1209% more than was asked for. Member comments have been overwhelmingly positive as well.

I'm not perfect, you're not perfect and they're not perfect, but based on results, I'd have to say they've been doing something right all these years.

I didn't want to tick 'include quote in reply' as we both wrote lengthy ass posts! don't want to clog anything

1. We are not asking you to buy ANY membership again. We have honored every single Lifetime membership we sold for $20 20 years ago. Not exactly nickel and diming people. - I'm only here for the last couple of years or so, and it was significantly higher for me, but I'm not debating its value,( kind of as my point, I attempted to be polite. and feed back.. and you took it as an attack! ) merely stating that for MY purposes, I feel Lifetime was a mistake as I was expecting more of a lifetime plus experience. It felt like I had just ponied up for Lifetime. and then as soon as I did, 'hey, wanna go for more!?' but in fairness, this is a self-solving problem as with each successive trailer for a game I play it becomes more and more financially viable.

2. We try and respond to everyone in the same manner they respond to us. - Again, you assume that I'm rude or an *******, I invite you to check my post history.. I post here rarely at best. what I disagree with is players attempting to discuss things and the short and curt responses to paying customers. again, NOBODY said that us being customers gives us the right to abuse you! of course not! you're just putting words in my mouth at that point. If you want examples, I can duly go and track a few down.

To be fair, you made very solid points in the service CH offers and MY misunderstanding of what I was getting before buying lifetime, I freely accept that, and I'm happy to concede that was MY misconception. However, I stand fast on point #2. the way orange names speak to people is rude when you consider they are (for the most part) paying customers! again, happy to provide examples.
