Okay, that's it! I'm done being patient. If the new map expansion isn't there in two weeks I'm asking for an update. There's simply too many new goodies now.
Mr. D, if you are reading these, expect an update request in two weeks, hopefully you can schedule it in.
They added sugar canes to the game so I can make you Strawberry Candy and Watermelon Lollipops as incentive now. 😉
OMG did you see they changed the colors to the flowers!! MAJOR UPDATE #1002599589! Every patch there is SO MANY NEW THINGS and MAJOR CHANGES! I mean if you went back 25 versions, and used the working trainer for that version, you would be missing out on the additional clouds!
Week 134: New mission, animal type and growable fruit with 5 new cooking recipes.
Week 135: New construction material to build bases with.
Week 136: Weather, climate and biome effects on farming crops, crop quality, new shovels and fertilizers.
Week 137: New satchel to store seeds and fertilizer in.
Week 138: New semi-automatic pistol and new ammo.
Week 139: New animal type with multiple variants.
Week 140: New battery-powered fridge backpack, new resource, 2 new workstations, portable fuel-powered generator, 3 new battery powered lights.
Week 141: Two new water storage items, animals now affected by weather, new gates, new glass building type.
Week 142: New fuel tank, new corner stairs and half stairs, new shotgun ammo type.
Week 143: New glass material, sugar resource and growable sugarcane, with 7 new cooking recipes.
And that's just the highlights, if you read the changelogs you'll see a treasure trove of new stuff, fixes and balancing and they also include stuff they intend to work on in the future. Most based on a votable feature request list. And even messages from the CEO to explain the motivation behind the choices they make.
Are they all major updates? Maybe not, but that's more likely to be Steam's fault by forcing a category depending on the post.
I get it, it makes a trainer maker's job harder. But this developer has shown continued dedication to its players while others would have declared it done and abandoned a long time ago.
I respect you, Cal, for all the hard work that goes into the countless trainers you make. I have since the early days when you still had time to chat with us and play the games you were working on. But please don't judge the developer for actually displaying the best example of the Agile principles I have ever seen.
And thank you so much for the updates, they really are appreciated.
PS I'll pass on your request for better clouds. 😉
PPS In case it wasn't clear, my statement about being done with being patient was aimed at the developer, not at CH. I apologize if it came across otherwise.

I think I was being sarcastic and joking right along with you!
No worries!
best,
Cal
TL;DR: Pretty please schedule some work on this trainer after NEXT week's (November 18) patch. So hold off one more week to let them do some bugfixing.
Looks like Steam wants to help out Cal: "Steam have started limiting character content in posts, so a detailed outline of our strategy and how we got here will be included by me (the CEO) as the first comment in the thread below." 🙂
Anyways, the time has finally arrived, the big map update, mission update, NPC update and whatever else update is upon us. Really, really big. Semi-free, since the map does require a DLC which has been out for over a year.
That said, they have been in closed beta for months, open beta for a week and are now going to take a breather and do hotfixing if necessary or general bugfixing and balancing if not urgent. So...
Can I kindly ask for a trainer update for NEXT week's patch? So not this one but the one released on/after the 18th? In other words, can you plan in a trainer update somewhere between the 18th and 25th? I will post the depot build and version number as soon as I see it. It would be the Week 150 update, a nice round number. Given the amount of changes it might be a bit harder to update the trainer again though.
And no, they are still not done adding new stuff. Nor is it an early access game. It's just very well maintained as long as the numbers remain in the black.
If you got this far, thank you. And as always, if you need help on this one you know how to find me.
After 99999999999999999 updates now they're in closed beta? lol, It looks like they're planning to finish the game in year 5000.
And it's out like clockwork, Week 150, version 2.2.25.128673, build ID 16076128. So if you can spare the time over the next 6 days to update the trainer that would be amazing. If not, I'll let you know next week's lucky numbers.
I wonder, are you just having fun with all the comments about the game receiving updates because it's not finished, or are you serious? Because by modern standards this game has been feature-complete and bug-free for a long time already. The developer simply has higher standards so they keep working on it. As a player, I say give them an award. As a trainer maker I understand it must be annoying, but don't you at least grudgingly respect the amount of work they are still investing into it, as well as their consistency and reliability?
I would suggest you PM the trainer maker who has the game now and ask if they have time. Probably best way to get attention to trainer.
-Devil- is the trainer maker that has taken over this title
