Trainer Battle

ICARUS Message Board  STATUS: ON HOLD - This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload.

Our ICARUS Trainer is now available for version 14751608 and supports STEAM. Our ICARUS message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.

Week 132 is version 2.2.7.12366 and Steam Build ID 14659683, released 9 hours ago.

Coming up on 2 months I admit it is becoming hard to keep my hopeful outlook. I know you don't have to, but pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top, Mr. D?

Another Friday, another addition to the greatness of Icarus as well as the greatness of my desperation.

Week 133 is version 2.2.8.123948 and Steam Build ID 14751608, released 6 hours ago.

Looks like they are gearing up to add many square miles of extra hand-crafted map. The past 2 weeks the changes have been minimal. Of course the weeks before that added a bunch of stuff I really want to try.

I really wish there was a cheat mod, but some essential things simply cannot be modded in. And so I wait. One more week until we reach 2 months.

hey whisper, were both patiently awaiting the update of this but did you know that you can rewrite your saved games to get exp, unlimited points to your knowledge and crafting tables and the coins needed to purchase items from the workshop? i dont know if that helps at all but it is available to do and its pretty easy to do....

I know indeed and at some point I was very tempted to edit the bestiary JSONs to avoid having to kill 5000 bunnies and Bambies with my bare hands. But I like to still experience the sense of accomplishment which comes with earning some things. I have earned enough exotics to buy almost everything at the workshop. I've also leveled up so many times I can unlock everything in the research screen for the next 20 years.

But after the first 500 hours there comes a point where I just want to turn on Super Player and stop worrying about taking care of HP, oxy and nutrition. I want to turn on Easy Craft so I can build 100 building pieces as soon as I've collected enough to build 1. Invisibility to be able to enjoy the scenery and hunt down all them bunnies with all-knowing 360 degree bionic senses. Unlimited jumps to traverse the terrain in an entertaining yet useful way. And of course Unlimited Inventory Weight.

Since Mr. D took over the Unlimited Durability option started working again and it makes for the best horde games since it also applies to building pieces. No more repairing spikes. Between Invisibility and Unlimited Durability I can create the most hilarious situations. When used right this trainer makes the game both fun and funny for a great many hours.

I might still try out options like enemy speed/freeze or noclip/unlimited use, but I'm perfectly fine without them. I used the skill points option a few times to unlock everything but there's a mod for that as well. Super Damage is risky but nice against the occasional big game.

So after all those hours I just really want to enjoy myself, do the missions as hard or easy as I would like, and this trainer is the only way to do that. I only use those 6 options, most everything else is available in mods. Which is why I also suggested slimming down the trainer in the past, it might make updating easier/faster.

And as far as mods, I only use 2 most of the time. The Teleporter Mod which allows easy teleporting between A, B and C and is more stable than the trainer (no fault of CH, the game really doesn't like sudden coordinate changes) and the mod which gives a 65% chance to one-shot trees and minerals (since leftover mineral voxels are the biggest performance drain). I might even edit that to 100% just for kicks. Piece of advice, don't one-shot every tree while running through a forest. Even my 7900 GRE came down to 1 FPS with all the falling items after my inventory was full. It was quite funny to see. 🙂

YESSSS! Trainer was updated! And there was great rejoicing! Lots of fireworks and celebration as well. They kicked me out of the orbital station back down to Icarus. Lost my lunch on the way down. Twice.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. D! I solemnly vow I won't mention any more updates at least until Week 140. Maybe even 145 if I can contain my inner child. I am so happy! So many cool new things to play with!

As always, if I can help you in some way to maintain this trainer, let me know.

Of course, in an exceedingly cruel twist of fate and not at all the fact that it is the Maori New Year tomorrow in New Zealand they released this week's update a day early, within hours after the trainer was updated.

But I shan't be deterred and was able to use the Steam console to download the correct version to my system. Just tested out my 6 essential options and they all seem to work, I was able to touch a snow leopard on the nose without it seeing me while wearing nothing but my birthday suit in the arctic.

For those in the same ironic predicament:

PS. Bicker, 2 cheaters on an online server? That's asking for trouble. 😉
Bit pre-occupied with work for now, code waits for no man even if he works 12 hours a day, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the invitation!
