REMINDER

feels like an early access game based on the amount of patches and endless noodling with code and continual complete changes of functions and offsets.

This game is on 95 weeks straight of updates. We will update on week 100. let me know when week 100 patch is out. From that point on we will update every 5 weeks or so. Note that the game updates a LOT of offsets and addresses EVERY PATCH. It's an exercise in insanity to have to spend hours EVERY WEEK on one game that is in perpetual "early access" for years and patching every week. So this is the new normal for Cheathappens on this game since that is the actual "normal" for this title. We may also just put the title on hold again like we have many times in the past and wait for it to finally be actually "finished" in 2030. They are on engine overhaul #7 or something at this point. Ridiculous.

Put the game down and when they have patch 100, contact me and I will update it then.

Thank you for not choosing the nuclear option. I can not speak for others but I definitely appreciate it.

Also, I personally use Super Player, Jumps, Invisible, Inventory Weight and Easy Craft. And I can live without the jumps and invisibility if I need to. Even though they make the game a lot more fun. That leaves only 3 essential options for me.

Healing is fast enough already, materials not consumed is a less cheaty version of easy crafting, no points spent can be replaced by a mod and the Edit XP option if that's easier, time options are nice to have but not essential, durability would be amazing but has never worked for me and unlimited use items, never needed it with easy craft. The speed option doesn't require much effort I think.

So, if even this new normal becomes too much you could consider limiting the options to the "core" ones. That's my opinion anyways.

And if all else fails, teach me how to update it. 🙂

Seriously, it's been a while since I made CE tables, but with the right coaching I'm sure I can pick up that skillset again.

PS How would we contact you? I assume you have your messages turned off since they are probably flooded. Support ticket?

Understandable Cal. Since this game is such a pain, does this also mean that Cosmos would have similar issues as well? I tried both the beg and adv Cosmos and I am able to find the string for the Ren (currency) and the value and change it but nothing I do takes effect in the game. I am thinking this maybe due to the issues you are mentioning?

It is annoying to change some values in memory in this game. In those times it takes workarounds.

But if that's what you want, there's 2 offline savegame editors on Github and one online editor. Or if you want to do it yourself, the values for talent refund tokens, exotics and Ren are the first three in the profile.json, all written out in plain text.

I haven't tried changing them but supposedly it's as easy as it looks. It stores many things in plain-text json, even the insane amount of animals you have to kill for the Bestiary and things you have to do for those Accolades (in files named exactly like that). And you can resurrect fallen characters as well.

But of course it can not make you immortal, invisible or leap over mountains. Which is why this trainer is a life-saver. Literally.

Actually quite tempted to change some values for the Bestiary and Accolades. But for now, thanks to the trainer's invisibility and super player options I can still realize my prospector's life-long dream of becoming the undisputed bare-knuckle bunny-boxing fist-fighting champion by beating thousands of bunnies to death with their bare hands. Not to mention the Bambi genocide, strip-mining and -logging which will leave me scarred for life.

Wolves and bear cubs though, they're asking for it. As are the boars and bears that think it's funny to destroy my house because their AI absolutely needs them to go in a straight line instead of around the obstacle. Still hoping they'll add turrets one day so I can put 1 pole in their path, then sit back and enjoy the show.

Honestly, the amount of destruction this game asks us to do.

I was going to say it was kind of exciting waiting for an update knowing exactly when it comes, but I just noticed there was one 3 days ago. I'd better update since tomorrow is patch day again. Bear & Bone armor, build improvements, better wind turbines and more open-world missions here I come! Thank you, Cal!

Phew, that was a 67GiB patch. Took a while. Back on write-protect she goes.

I put out a trainer earlier than I said I would on October 10, late in the evening. The game has promptly updated again 2 days later

Friday is update day, has probably been that way for 97 weeks in a row (even holidays I wonder?). I have to admire the dedication. They are very busy implementing all the community requests. Almost no bug fixing ever needed, just giving us free new stuff plus balancing and QoL improvements based on feedback. It's interesting seeing the game evolve from what its creators thought they were going to create to where it is now.

Now if only they would make a cheat menu part of the game...
