It worked!

Here's how:

Navigate to your steam directory, steamapps, common, starship troopers terran command, starship troopers data, streamingassets, data. Locate the units.csv file in that folder, and open it with text editor program, I used notepad++.

Now, you'll be confronted with an absolute wall of text, much of which wont make sense, but the first word on each line is the important ones we need to look at first. There are 8 lines that start with the word power...these are the power armored troops definitions. Scroll to the right until you see the following string:
,,3,1,,,
This is the part of the line that defines how much supply (3) and how much war support (1) that the unit requires. Simply highlight that #1 and delete it. Be careful NOT to delete any of the commas. The string should now look like
,,3,,,,

For the marauders, theres 4 lines that start with 'marauder', but one is the parade varient that we dont need to mess with. For these units you're looking for
,,4,2,,
Again, delete the 2, but not any of the commas, so it shows
,,4,,,

Lastly, the turrets. These are a little bit finicky because theres lines for the non-buildable and destroyed turrets as well. The ones we want are MG_Turret, Rocket_Turret, and Grenade_Turret.

For MG_Turret, look for /,1,,10,/ and delete the 1 (not the 10), so it shows /,,,10,/
For the other 2 turrets, look for /,2,,20,/ and delete the 2, so it shows /,,,20,/

Save your changes, and that's it, now units and turrets no longer require any war support to field! You can undo your changes and reset the game to vanilla by using steam to verify your game files

no way dude, the unlimited supply and invincible units cheats are great! This was just a workaround for a thing the trainer didnt do

In my personal oppinion,
the main reason to use a trainer over console commands or cheat codes or mods.
Is the comfortability to relegate a long typed in cheat code into a single press of a button.

I'll also echo the request that hopefully some LT+ members request the "More War Support" option be added if possible.

Plus a request to bring back the Map "Reveal option" as well, to aid in hunting down the hidden brood nests and bug holes (I'm a completionist and hate leaving a map without squashing every single bug!

Further to what ninjafroggie mentioned, if you use excel to open the csv file everthing is sorted in neat rows and colums with labels on them. just make sure yoy save the edited file as a csv again

I had a look at this and I would strongly recommend using a spreadsheet app like excel or openoffice over notepad++. It's far neater
