Diablo 2 Resurrected Message Board  

I've seen messages saying that the game will run up to 4K and even some others saying it will run at 8K but I can't get it to configure beyond 1080p in the graphics settings. I have an 8K monitor running in 8K mode and if I let the game start up in full screen, it crashes to desktop as soon as it gets to the main menu. Only way to not crash is to ALT+ENTER to put it in windowed mode. Is there a config file somewhere I can mess with or some other setting I need to change to get it to run at 4K or 8K. Trying to play at 1080p in a window on an 8K monitor is pretty much impossible as you can hardly see anything. Any help is appreciated.

There is some Settings.json file in save location: "c:\Users\[User]\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\Settings.json" not sure this is what you wanted, but here you go.

Nevermind just noticed I no longer can change the resolution 😡😡😡 Some release that D2

Yeh, I can change the resolution in the game to 4K and it will let me play like that, but when I go to save and quit and return to the main menu it crashes and then crashes again on next game start. Have to basically wipe out that json file every time I want to play which sucks. I might just refund the game.

You can't refund the game I'm waiting for you to make a trainer, so please don't...

There will be no trainer for the game. We are looking into a possible editor, but do not know as of yet.

Not sure why Blizzard makes life so hard for modders, it's basically free content and replayability for their game, why lock it down like that is beyond me.

Save editor would be something, was thinking of making a simple player stats editor on my own.
