I tried a bunch things including the above, except installing Canary. I didn't want that. Unfortunately nothing worked. However, I did change my account from a std one to an admin one. That fixed it. Which is strange as the TM was working fine with just a std account previously.

Do you have TM in a restricted folder such as C:\Program Files\ etc.?

I have the folder under c:\users\myusername\documents My account has full rights as well The TM needed run as admin as well, when it didn't need to before

This has changed because of mobile app. If TM does not run as admin, you will get UAC prompts every time you launch a trainer via TM. Now that TM runs as admin you don't. So you can launch trainers from mobile app without having to confirm the UAC dialog.
Anyway I'm unable to reproduce it and from what you say I have not a single idea either, too bad.

Oh well. Thanks for looking into it. It works when logged in as admin so that is ok.
