It had been my understanding that Diablo II Resurrected was a complete reverse engineer remake and was on an entirely new game engine. This is actually it turns out not true. It really is the original Diablo II game updated to modern standards. So everything that is true about original Diablo II, is true for Resurrected. So trainers should be absolutely possible. Plus Blizzard confirmed offline single player play. Very surprised by this really, as it has been Blizzard's M.O. for a real long time now to be pretty greedy and lock everything down.
