Might just be old data in the temp folder,

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.

still got same issue after follow all your instructions step by step. I even download again the trainer using trainer manager page (using manager cleaner too). I start the game fresh also without loading an old save data.

Does someone (steam user) able to run this trainer (for FFX)? What does the top bar look like? Mine is write;

Final Fantasy X [GAME RUNNING]
1.0.4.0 (xbox logo - only...) [LATEST]

Is that it? Or got steam logo also there?

this trainer is for gamepass version only and it's not guaranteed to work with the steam version too even tho if the process name is same.
as i recall the final fantasy Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy X-2 Last Mission shared common executable name:
FFX-2.exe
the issue here is that the trainer attaches to the wrong game hence make sure to run the correct game with the matching trainer otherwise it won't fire up.
just make sure you've got the correct trainer.

Maybe you're correct, this trainer is for gamepass version only. I'm not sure mine is what (don't know how to check it), just bought it from Steam few days ago.

For my final request, can you please help to check these 2 pictures file I attached here? Picture 1 show which file I download from CH while picture 2 show trainer that I run. Need to conform both are correct so I can give-up 😅.

Btw, I'm taking about FFX trainer not FFX-2 as what I can see here there's no Steam version available other than FFX so it's understandable.

I keep getting trainer cannot find game
I removed antivirus
I run the trainers in a folder that is whitlisted with other cheat happens trainers
Been a long time user

I have the xbox game pass version.

I start the game select final fantasy x
I wait until I can control character

I press f1.

I tried to go to settings and set the game path to E:\WindowsApps\39EA002F.FFXX-2HDRemaster_1.0.4.0_x64__n746a19ndrrjg which is where it got installed to but get need to be an administrator.

I am an administrator and I took ownership of that folder.

I am running windows 10 pro. Not sure what else I can do.

I always run the trainers as admin

same issue and i am running the second one that has the steam logo and it is giving men the same error for gamepass.

I'm getting the same issue with trainer not finding game using GamePass trainer and GamePass version of the game. I've tried pointing it to the install directory, but Windows said I don't have permission, even though I have all permissions set. I don't normally have to tell the trainers where to find the game so I'm not sure what to do from here. Maybe I'll try using Cosmos, but thought I'd let you know regardless.

*EDIT*

I downloaded the 2nd most recent version of the trainer (the one that didn't have the expansion name in the title) and it works. I think because I was playing the original FFX, not the expansion, the trainer didn't recognize it. Hope this helps others
