My guess, too much negativity towards the trainer and it's maker, be it PM's or posts and he just had enough.
and i hope you closed their accounts. i've been here over a decade. the amount of disrespect i saw on these boards aimed at these devs was unacceptable.
I'm dismayed by the amount of negativity on all sides in this particular forum, and let me state categorically that I love CH's products. The trainers for MELE1 and 2 both work like a dream and didn't take much effort for me at all. However, I'll add my own voice to the chorus reporting CTD issues with the MELE3 trainer. I have followed all of the advice around temp/files deletion, reboot, new trainer, new game, etc. and in all cases I can make it to the very first real combat situation in a brand new game just fine without activating any of the cheats. Literally the first set of return fire with unlimited health set as active CTDs the game (or rather reboots the game and returns me to the moment just before the crash). If there are logs that you'd like me to post, I'm more than willing to help since I would love to see this trainer succeed.
First as far as I know Caliber has said that the Mass Effect 3 trainer was retired so no more updates for it. Also You could play the game on narrative difficulty, import a level 30 character from Mass Effect 2 and then dump all your skill points first into health and shields to give you the best protection possible. Also keep in mind that later in the game you can assign bonuses to health and shields.
They put in a anti-cheat system in Mass Effect 3 because it had Multiplayer and the Multiplayer and Singleplayer were linked .... Stop harassing them .. it is not like the remaster got rid of coding designed to **** up cheaters.
I am glad that it is now know that the anti-cheat is linked with solo content as that makes sense why the trainers for 3 are not working and as for the ones for 1 and 2 I have had no problem with them except for MELE ME2 trainer having the resource problem but that is not a big deal for me since there is a save editor now that I can just add them back.
