I am running the scan now. I do not believe this will fix the issue as my computer has been of since the 22nd.
Also the trainer for Need For Speed Payback works just fine.
All it takes is 1 bad install from windows updater, would also check defender protection history to see if it had been previously flagged. Try a fresh trainer as well.
Just to see if it is something specific to ME1 I downloaded the latest trainer for ME2. It gave the same error.
I uninstalled the last major update from Windows and restarted. Still getting the same error.

Try to go here: appdata/roaming/cheat happens/Shared
if there is a dll file there, delete it, then delete the trainer and redownload it, see if that works.
Is this trainer compatible with EA Desktop versions of the game?
As when I use it I get the attached error message.
Use Origin and see if you get the same error.
