Hi, I usually use Keyboard and Mouse to activate Trainer Options.

But I wanted to use the Xbox Wireless Controller on Windows 10 for my first time to activate trainer options.

1. I opened trainer pressed F1

2. I selected on the bottom left of the Trainer Menu the Controller Image to turn on controller

3. I removed some Options but kept one of the options that I wanted to Use, and changed the Key to DpadUp

4. When I select the DpadUp hotkey on the xbox controller, NOTHING happens...

5. I troubleshoot by seeing if it works via number pad key 8 to activate Speed cheat... and it activates normally and fine as usual...


Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to press another button on the controller or something so it can register the cheat hotkey on my xbox controller?

Its really annoying to have to take my hands off the xbox controller mid-fight to press my keyboard to activate the cheat I want ( using speed cheat to make things slow motion)...

Any tips and help from anyone? Its my first time using a controller to activate trainer as I normally don't play fighting games and generally use keyboard an mouse

You need to set the global trigger and hold that and then activate the option from the controller.

EG if your trigger is set to d-pad up, and option for cheat is set to A, you hold d-pad up and press A for cheat to enable/disable.
