So i noticed that despite me clicking for the steam version (and telling aurora to remember the setting) the logo is only for the epic game store version adn my trainer cant find the game. any possibility this is related? and how can i reset my version preference just in case i clicked the epic version by mistake? holding control just skips past the selection after appearing for a brief moment

have you selected the correct game at the menu?
okay, so funnily enough it took me a second but i understoo dthe isdsue. in aurora its nto immedietly clear the different game options. if you pull open the game via the favorites menu, youll be taken to the kkingdom hearts 2 trainer everytime. if you want to play any of the other games with the trainer looks like you need to manuallly find the correct one every time. i assume its because its a bundled game that it has to be done like this? but yes the rtrainers work now thank you
When saving the trainer as favorite, you can press NO on the always use latest version. this way you can save all trainers in the bundle if you want.
Im really having a hard time trying to get Aurora to work for the first game. Ive adjusted my settings so that Aurora does not open a trainer automatically (since it always opens to KH2), but lets me choose one. The issue is that from game mode/steam OS I only get as far as seeing the list of trainers. It seems the window needs to be stretched maybe to see the options for downloading/activating via the image attached. When I try to stretch the screen however Aurora will eventually then bug out and freeze and I cant click on anything within the aurora window after. It seems to actually be worse on desktop mode. Even with windowed mode enabled, settings like forcing Aurora to be at the forefront or run in the background the cheathappens window always freezes. In short the farthest I have gotten is through game mode, but I cant figure out a way to make it work.
In Aurora settings there should be a box to check that says something like "maximize window" check that

That was absolutely it, thank you! Just as a note for others I could not launch the trainer properly through Aurora on the steam deck. I connected the trainer, but could not turn it on/activate cheats until I used the cheat happens mobile app. That was just my experience though. It seems to be working now though!
