everything was going great until I bricked my save file. there is a side story that needs you to turn off power consumption for 2 minutes. The problem is once either power option is turned on, it refuses to disable itself even if you click it again, hitting either option turns your power to max or like 9999 permanently. Since you can't back out of side stories until they are completed and side stories are required for progression. Going into the one that needs you to disable power bricks your save. I would appreciate a speedy fix.
Try this:
-Disable all power cheats
-turn off one of your radio repeaters
-wait for timer to expire
-turn repeater back on
-reactivate power cheats
Worked for me. You may need to buy a new repeater after disabling the power cheats to get it to work. The idea is that turning off the repeater with the cheats disabled causes the power usage to go negative, which causes the game to freak out and think the power is offline, thus allowing the timer to complete.

I appreciate the effort, but this unfortunately didn't work for me. I decided load an older save and to avoid the Side Story in question until a trainer option was released. Unfortunately, this "Power Off" mechanic is used in more than one Side Story. So far, both of the Science Henchmen have this gimmick appear. Just something for everyone to be aware of.

Sorry, but once you hit "unlimited power" (numpad3) the power is set at 10000 permanently. You can run the game without the trainer and it still will be at 10000 power.
Now, I'd like to know if the staff wants us to request this reset as a "request new option" or will it be addressed in some other way?
I fully understand 0x90 can't possibly play every game to uncover every unforeseen problem a trainer option can cause.
While awaiting any clarification, I thank you for the time and the produced trainer
Cheers
I notice that one person mentioned the cash problem. But nothing has been done about it. It LOOKS like it increases the gold you have, but a couple of seconds later it resets back to your original amount.
do you have space for more cash in the vault?
because the trainer adds a certain amount and a few seconds later it gets reduced to the maximum amount the vault can hold
Cheers

It worked for both me and Iceprince. Like I said, the idea is not to exceed your power generation, that is impossible with the permanent 10k power. Instead, you trick the game because when you turn off that repeater with the cheats off, your power usage goes from 0 to -6, which makes the game freak out and think the power is offline.
