Then likely the trainer needs an update.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Has anyone tested this trainer with the GOG version of the game?
Could it be that the Steam trainer is working for GOG too?
I want to ensure it works before purchasing the game from GOG (it's currently on sale).

I tested it, it didn't work, Aurora gave an error on activation.
I refunded the game.
