Ehh, the worst that will happen is probably no Multiplayer option for cheaters.
Which wouldn't really be a problem since you shouldn't be multiplayering with cheats anyways!
So i'm not worried about getting banned from MP.
Getting banned from the game would just be dumb from their side IMHO.
Well the good thing about the Cheat Happens trainer is that you can't play multiplayer games with the trainer because you have to use the .exe that disables anti-cheat. I would also assume (and this is an assumption) that if the trainer can only be used when the multi-player function is shut down, then you also are not sending real-time character metrics back to the devs. Therefore if you use the trainer to get your loot or whatever you want to do with it and then shut down the trainer and launch the game normally, would that not be OK? I can't see how it negatively affects other players as you can't use the trainer when playing with others (and nor should you).

Sadly you are not assuming it the right way 😋
I can use the cheat to set my level as high as i want, give as many "class points" ? as i want - possibly unlocking all the class skills in the tree.
Restart with no trainer and join some blokes game that just started with full legendary items and just go HAM. This would for sure ruin the game for most people.
The saddest part of this is that there are folks around who would consider what i described above as "fun".
I'm also fairly certain that it makes no difference to the devs and the metrics they get which .exe file you use. They can most certainly see that you cheated.
Hence why i said getting a MP Ban would be fine with me. Don't have many friends left who still play games anyways.

you can do that even legit in a year when a new player buys on sale and join them and go ham, thats not the issue, issue is oneshotting a boss, unl hp, and so forth while in a matchmade co op mission impacting someone elses gameplay, getting all the stuff on your own then playing with others doesn't impact it as its still regular gameplay, what would impact is if you could spawn a custom item nobody can get(you can't) the fact you can only cheat when running without EAC disables group play for the duration, and thats fine.
I'm actually super nervous about how they're going to hand out the multiplayer bans, if they do. I used the trainer for less than a day to test out the features. I've deleted the characters I used it on, though. So if this makes it so I can't play with my friends, despite not even having a character that cheated, I'll be pretty upset.
You're assuming they will do any such thing, in every game thats multiplayer devs say anti cheater stuff, 99% of them they do nothing, in MMOs, RMT is a thing, personally I'm a fan of it, they don't ban buyer, they ban the sellers, they try to post and make people feel they are fighting it, but in the long run its not viable to do so, its not pvp, its pve so the incentive and outcry will be far less.
I think I might have done something wrong. I double clicked the trainer but of course did not press F1. Then I started the EXE file in the game directory, Pressed F1 at the screen where you start the game and once I was in the game after the cutscene plays I pressed numpad 1 and the trainer said failed. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to do this I think I might have missed a step. Also this is what the Debug screen says:
00:07:21: Outriders, 0.1.0.0 DEMO (STEAM)
00:07:21: Checking for updates failed...
00:18:17: Found multiple processes the trainer can attach to. The trainer activation could fail if the trainer attaches to the wrong game instance. In this case please, first see if the trainer readme contains special instructions about this. Otherwise close all game processes you find in the taskmanager and try again.
00:18:17: Successfully attached to OUTRIDERS-Win64-Shipping
00:23:31: Script error in line 19: This instruction can''t be compiled: mov rdx, [PlayerBase]
The way I got it to work for me was to let the trainer launch the correct .exe (make sure you use the one in the specified folder as there are two .exe's with the same (or similar) name.
