Didn't both players have to be soft-banned to play together in DS though? If this game is like that then you'll likely both have to flagged to play together so if your friends play without cheats then you'll either have to play it on another account (if that works) or just not cheat.

Has there been any confirmation as to how intrusive the watermark will be on the screen?

One thing i can confirm is that not all accounts get the soft ban. I have 3 different accounts XD . one that I never used the trainer and nothing happened to it. The other just used it smart ( no maxed-out points or stuff ) and no soft ban. BUUUUT XD on the 3rd where I got about 30 legends and almost maxed outclass points....well got flagged as a cheater hehe. So I guess they can not " see " some stuff.

On the second account, I just got 3-4 legends and maxed out scraps and resources .So maybe explore those limits? if you don't want to get branded as a cheater?

I cheated a bunch of legendaries in the demo. And that is all. Got the message today.

As a minorly related topic, today was my first ever experience of the Steam refund system. It's pretty quick.

This game is a dumpster right now, at least on steam.

HUD is missing
Can't log in
Can't play
framerate dropped from demo
more crashes.
server required to log in to play and it's down
any internet connection break, and you instantly are thrown out of the game.

plus the EAC anti cheat, the anti cheat thread bogging CPU, and the rootkit driver going.

All this for a freaking video game.

Keep supporting this crap guys, and you will get more of it.

Trainer will be finished (it's already updated) when I can actually run this dog at some point to test it. I also was hit with the NO HUD issue.

EVERYBODY is hit with the can't log in issue. GARBAGE.

I'm an old school gamer.. 47 years old been, been gaming since atari 2600, all my friends are my age with kids now and we all use trainers when we can to beat the games faster.. we play together in private online games when possible, i can live with the watermark if that's the only restrictions, i just want the story part of the game. i never do multiplayer unless its coop and lot of times we have problems getting together to do that cause of family life (kids betimes, movie nights,woking, etc), i do know i could be punished for cheating, I'm willing to take that chance it doesn't bother me cause i never cheat online. However i do agree with what someone said about this should be a SP game.

Yeah, the game's not working well at all. I keep getting kicked out...

Also a thing I'm wondering about; If we used a trainer in the demo, and never played those characters at all post-demo, does that still mean we're marked?
Is there any way to know if we're marked, or the game's matchmaking is just rubbish?🤖

Hey Cal.. the No HUD thing seems to be solved by just going back to lobby and starting it again.. least that fixed it for me.

What's upsetting is the reason these games are online only is to support microtransactions. This is a full priced US$60 game and I probably won't use the multiplayer or co-op aspects at all. Rootkits, overloaded CPU cores and all the problems resulting from this are so unnecessary!
