Well, sucks to have a watermark on screen.
As long as I can play with my buddies who don't mind then i'm ok with it. Every game I have joined thus far is just people who don't know the matchmaking is on by default and freak out and leave because a stranger joined anyways. They need to turn OFF matchmaking by default so that only people LFG will get players.
Run your hand across your monitor, if it gets wet...there it is. 😋
The only wet on the screen would be my tears if what redster311 said was true.
Good news, boys, We're just going to get what amounts to a slap on the wrist for cheating.

"In a recent dev update looking forward to next week's launch, the studio revealed that cheating in Outriders will not only earn you stiff matchmaking penalties, but also a "discreet but visible" watermark that will never go away. Brands over bans, basically."
I can live with a watermark, since it's just me seeing it, and I can live with matchmaking penalties, since I wasn't planning on matchmaking. It means I get to experience this game as a single player game and cheat while doing it. Yay!
For me though I'd like to play the game in multi-player with a group of friends however, when playing with the group of friends I do not intend to cheat in any way. That being said, I also have a busy life and don't have the time to grind out endless quests for the loot I'm after so if I have the option to play the game in single-player only mode and activate a cheat that'll allow me to progress a little faster then I do not see the problem in doing that. I don't ruin my friends experience or enjoyment of playing the game in any way.
