File an update request and have some patience.

Trainer is working. PLEASE READ and activate the trainer as soon as the game starts and BEFORE you press SPACE to START GAME.

SUPER IMPORTANT!

For the trainer to WORK with the GAME, you must REPLACE THE EAC LAUNCHER with the INCLUDED LAUNCHER.

Replace this file:

EAC_OUTRIDERS.exe

usually HERE:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\OUTRIDERS Demo

With the one included with the trainer.

RUN THE GAME NORMALLY FROM STEAM and it will run without EAC and the trainer can then attach.

Make sure to ACTIVATE THE TRAINER at the screen (or BEFORE) that says:

OUTRIDERS

and do it BEFORE you press SPACE to START GAME and authenticate and log in, otherwise EAC will close the game.

You can activate the trainer at the opening video, if you like, to make sure it's active before the authentication.

It works.
Replace the file, run game, press F1 until the space bar, that's it.

A quick message regarding this game. The final release comes out April 1 of this title. Clearly the developers are trying to avoid people using trainers and mods for their game, even though you can play alone. I have NO IDEA what they will do in the next 11 days and beyond. Just because the we've been able to give you a trainer and launcher to play the game NOW does not mean the developers might ramp up their anti cheat methods.

We DO NOT CONDONE online cheating in multiplayer environments or mods and trainers that give people content that is supposed to be paid for.

This game seems to be a single player game mode or at least coop at times. The developers should just make a divided single player mode that doesn't require all this kernel mode anti cheat stuff that is wacking out your operating system and diverting normal windows operations and api calls. Your ability to read your own memory on your own computer is being blocked and your operating system operations are being hijacked for a video game!

In short, the trainer may be blocked or something may prevent us from making a working trainer for this game in the future. It just is what it is. The game Vermintide 2, this occurred, as the developers added more and more onerous and frankly root kit like drivers to wall of their video game.

Being able to play the game like you want on your own computer, and the increased fun of trainers and mods is a luxury and a freedom we support and wish developers would embrace rather than try to force you into some notion of what they consider fun. But in the end, if this game becomes overly protected or more is done to try and block mods and trainers, we may not be able to create a trainer that works or works indefinitely.

We also have no idea what the developers have planned for people's accounts if they deem you using mods is not allowed.

I'm sorry all...I am having a brain vapor lock moment. I replaced the EAC file, added virus exception in windows security, I did properties/general/unblocked...can't get game to launch on steam using trainer exe file. Went back and loaded original game EAC launcher and runs fine. I know it's something in my settings/config but can't figure it out. I'm new to PC games, so I know it's a user error (please be gentle!). What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Put the launcher in the exclusion list as well or the whole game folder, run trainer as admin. It does suck that more developers are putting things like EAC into games that clearly don't need it. I'm guessing that a lot of the people who don't have a problem with EAC don't know what it actually does. That or they're alright having something like EAC if it means they won't see a cheater one in every hundred games.
