Actually I'm running the one from the EPIC store I do understand what you mean though about running the game first without replacing anything to make sure everything is working properly. I have gone through those steps and the game does work properly when the original files are in place. If I replace the original EAC_OUTRIDERS.exe with the one from the trainer the game gets stuck once I hit space bar to proceed with the Authenticating spinner (it never goes past this). The only way out of it is to open task manager and end task the game.

May be a security software issue, try adding the game directory to the exclusion list (along with the trainers folder and CH work folder C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work). Or it could be too much info in this folder trying to be sent to the game devs/server.

guys what am i doing wrong? Since the last update AND the new trainer, the crashes have been increasing.
I took all your suggestions to heart. Replace your EAC file, start game with original EAC file, safe game. Deleted the original file and replaced it with your file. Reboot computer, start trainer, start game from Steam, activate trainer during intro video .. and than? crash .. again and again. 😬

I didn't have that many crashes with trainer 1.10 and the game before the update!
By the way, the game runs perfectly without your trainer and the original EAC file. And I also managed that the trainer (after update and version 1.11) worked 1x ... until the crash after 1,5h ingameplay 😭
What is wrong with the trainer?

Notes right from the tester:

Verify game files via steam
run game once with no trainer or replaced .exe
Close it, replace .exe, run again with trainer and steps in readme.txt
Trainer working fine.

I tried but still see the same issue stuck at authenticating. Also just to clarify this was the Epic store version of the game.

I went over to the Steam version of the game is everything works as expected with the trainer so the issue appears to be specific to the Epic version only.

After patch v1.11.0.0 out of 10 tries ive managed to cross the Intro Video Once and reach the character screen. The game has crashed to the Desktop with UE4 Madness Error Without the Trainer.

Trainer isnt the reason for the crashes because the one time the game didnt crash and i was using the trainer it ran beautifully. All options.

I hope this is an appropriate post for this thread. But i cant seem to make head or tails of this. Ive tried everything. Windows fully updated. GPU Driver fully updated. I even re-installed C++ x86 and x64 etc.

Crashing a lot is usually tied to

C:\Users\ (Your User) \AppData\Local\Madness\Saved\Crashes

being too large and it's trying to send all that data home. Wipe it.

Ever since version 1.11.0.0 the game is stuck on "authenticating" for me after I replace the eac file. When I use the original everything works.

Is this issue only happening to me ?
