Did you test every option?

in battle health, easy detect and ammo is working (exception on ammo are depth charges), and command points are working as well.
Did not test ship speed.

For future versions it would be nice to edit a base soldiers/supplies/fuel/engineering.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Please use the trainer option request system for requesting new options be added to this trainer and/or vote on options already requested.

Does anyone know how to deactivate a browser blocking the download? Pressing ctrl-f like the popup say shows them but there is no option to do anything other than delete the failure notice. I've tried turning off the protection on chrome and opera, but it still doesn't work.

Disable your browser security fully. you can google on how to do this. it also might be your AV blocking it.

Refill Ammo:
While active mouse HOVER your weapon icons. Each ammo type will be set to 999.

Where do I find "the weapons icons"?

Think you need to click on the bottom middle, the ones that look like 1 and 3 bullets and then another window/screen comes up. Looks that way on the gameplay video anyway. Since you have the game and I don't, you will have a better time finding them than I will.

Thanks for the idea but those buttons control the weapons. They don't show how much ammunition is left.

There is a window that will open up for a formation of ships and mousing over each vessel shows the amount of ammo they have, however, if I hover the mouse over that with the reload cheat key active, nothing happens.
