I used www.saveeditonline.com to edit my saves in "C:\Users\....username...\AppData\Local\ES2\Saved\SaveGames" in order to give myself a lot of resources and XP for crafting. Look for the "Amount" which corresponds to these values and change them. "Seed 118" can be updated by changing "Amount 118".

I would like to find an editor which I could run locally on my computer for editing Unreal Engine 4 .sav files.

It appears that 'sav' editor tool I used does not work with saves as of game v 0.4.16428.

yea i read they changed the savegame compression type to condense the file in the patch, might have made it unreadable
