With my rig (i9 9900k, rtx 2080 ti, 32gig of ram) i will get roughly 5-10 minutes of gameplay then bam! Crash to desktop. I look at the crash log and it says unknown gpu crash. I was running through the display port and I changed over to hdmi. I played about half an hour without issues. Still need to try for longer times to see if its stressing the gpu or not, but better results than before. I hate that people are having issues with the game crashing, but also happy its a known issue.
Sounds like your DP port on your GPU is not good, there should be 2 of them, did you try the other port to see?
Bear in mind if you try to play this on 4k with RTX on your GPU will overheat quickly, even on a 2080ti, if you have good cooling then you needn't worry, but if you rely on air cooling as per standard card you will hit the 80s easily in busy areas. Even on 1440p with RTX on fully it is quite harsh.
Hi Jonathan,
I actually can't get the game to load at all. From reading around the various boards there seems to be a problem after the initial cut scenes with the game using an AVX instruction on the CPU. Older CPUs don't have AVX instructions.

Hi Zealousky,
I have an old AMD-FX-8150 with 32 gigs of ram. It sounds like your nvidia settings need to be changed. I am looking at mine to see what's going on. In looking at the crash report, it states the following below. It appears that the Patch0Hotfix2 source code file for DirectX 12 causes the error. This definitely is a bug in the game!
