Hello. Has anyone gotten the Player Skills section to work with the latest trainer? It worked for me in 2.0 update of the trainer, but it doesn't seem to work for me anymore. All I see is ?? for all except the Engineering Level and XP, which was not correct either. I have tried moving to different spots in the game, but doesn't seem to do anything. I'm attaching my save file with this reply if someone wants to test it for themselves.
A) There is no attachment with your message. zip/rar first.
B) Make sure you have the Phantom Liberty DLC purchased and installed as some options no longer function if you only have the base game.

Hello. I have the DLC purchased and installed on my system. I also reinstalled the game with the DLC just to be sure and nothing changed. I'm attaching my ManualSave-0 with this reply. Thanks.
EDIT: I'm using the GOG version of the game.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong here. Doing a new playthrough of the game and I got the money editor to work correctly twice. Going on about 5 days now though it won't change again. One strange thing is that when I go to the editor it shows a completely different number from the credits I actually have. It keeps the value I input, but the in-game amount doesn't change. I've tried doing it in multiple locations (away from vendors/shops/etc.) but it doesn't change anything. I also tried changing it and then driving around, playing through the game, but still nothing.
Am I missing something?
Try to open the Character menu screen (Press P) and then switch to the editor in trainer. I found on my system that Money, Attributes, Relics & Perk points only correctly show up if I'm in the Character screen instead of the Inventory screen.

Confirmed that ALL your data is stored in a way that the way I parse the game data flowing through the data function can't catch it. You have played like 50 hours into this game, whereas I have not, and so maybe there is something unique about the way they store the data way further into the game.
I don't think GOG has anything to do with it but it might. We own the STEAM game, but the trainer is working for the vast majority of users.
I wish I had better news, but not sure exactly what to tell you. For THAT character with THAT save game THAT far into the game with THAT setup in THAT location with THOSE choices, our parse for the data cannot capture it. And the parsing code as we have it now is already super complicated.
Sometimes the location matters in that if there is a LOT of NPC or interactive characters in an area and scripts can be run with them, their info is ALSO running through the data functions. But I went pretty far away from where your save started me and the data just won't get pulled up with the parse I am using, sorry.
I bet if you started a fresh character (I am not telling you to do that, or that it's a solution) in the new DLC the data would pull up fine for that character, at least for a very long while.
best,
Cal

That did it! Crazy that something as simple as just being on a different menu can make something work or not work!
Problem solved!😁

Alright, no worries. I will test it with a new character and see if that works for the skill progression. Thanks for the information.
