It's not updating the money and i'm in the middle of nowhere. Save attached. Doing weird stuff. I was able to save a value but it's not updating in game and still is reverting back to that value i changed. Getting close to vendors makes the numbers in all the editor categories go crazy
Took your save
loaded your save
ran up the top the hill (took 5 seconds)
opened inventory
your money amount showed in editor
I edited it to 33333
closed inventory to get back to game
then opened inventory again and it changed to 33333
trainer works here.

I hope this isn't to late, i was having your same issue, however it worked for me when i hit the "H" key to open the main menu (the screen that shows the three precentages as well as your cyberware/invent/map/char/journal and last but not least the money at the top) vs hitting the "I" key to open the inventory directly. So I hit H, set my values in the editor and hit H again(close) ran in a circle and then pressed H to see and the value is what i set it as. I was also near the Medeski Fuel Station fast travel point because in the city the money value would drop like crazy as you mentioned

Having some issues with getting relic points to whatever I want them to be. I believe I am using the trainer right, loading game, opening trainer as admin, loading save then pressing activate only when loaded and then pressing h and going to stats and the relic skill tree to populate editor fields then changing relic points to 8 but no change in game. Attached is my save file
