Scan for “float” value.
Add a zero to your hours left on your an active research project.
I.e. 120hours left on light ammunition-> “1200”
Wait for a hour to pass. I.e. 119hours=“1190”. With this, scan the results of the first search. “Next scan” or something like that.
Should have two values. One of which that should represent any current research counter. Keep changing it to “1” for each new project and you should be able to research the entire research tree in a day or two.
(Made the mistake of searching the hour value directly or converting to minutes the first few dozen times. Oops)
[remember to save beforehand as may cause crash] Might be able to shorten build times through a similar process albeit much less efficient. Start your building project. Pause. Scan “float” value for unknown-initial-value. Play and allow some progress on construction to continue. Scan for decreasing float value. Rinse and repeat a few times. There will be a bunch of numbers with multiple decimals. You’re after exact values like “160” or “200” out of the group. Change to “-40” or something like that, play and watch that building near-insta-complete. Might help if you’re in a pinch building lvl4 housing in winter and marauders are approaching or something.
thanks for sharing, will give it a go.
