When collecting Opal, I have the "Collect Max Items = ON", it will show that it collected 999999 but

Opal not getting Max items

When collecting Opal, I have the "Collect Max Items = ON", it will show that it collected 999999 but once I try to buy something at the Merchant/Trader, it defaults back to how many Opals I currently have.
