I'm aware that the always-online functionality of Modern Warfare 2019 and/or some type of built-in anticheat (or something along those lines, at least) prevented the creation of a trainer for the game.

Is it known if that's the case here as well, or will a trainer be coming?

There is a single-player campaign so probably yes. We'll see soon.

There was, of course, a campaign with MW2019 as well, but a trainer was unable to be made for that game due to many DRM and anti-cheat related reasons.

Given that Cold War is also running on Blizzard's Battle.Net, I'm unsure if it's sharing the same problems.

Does anyone have the game and is actually playing it yet?

It's out for me in Australia, and I've already run through the campaign.

Can you hack anything like health or ammo using CoSMOS on the campaign or is it stored on the server?

Haven't checked yet, and I admit to not being familiar with CoSMOS, but I'll check it out and report back

Right, status update- Unsure if this is just down to my inexperience with Cosmos, but I doubt it- The game crashes with Cosmos open. I've tried having Cosmos open before launching the game, but then it crashes after the "connecting to online servers" message pops out, and opening Cosmos while in a mission instantly crashes the game as well, same as while in the menu.

I'm guessing the game is using the same setup MW2019 has with regards to anti-cheat, or anti-trainer measures, or whatever.
