Just an FYI,

Do not spend hours exploring or upgrade all your gear with the upgrade cheat before getting out of the first settlement formally, and by that I mean naturally in the games story line.

You will most likely get stuck on a certain part and be unable to progress, I have confirmed this via a few mates who all did the same thing - Save your gearing cheats for a little bit further in!

Could you clarify how far in this is? I did the one where you avenge that one person by killing the other person and then impaling him on a tree (being purposely vague here to avoid spoilers), is that far enough in?

I tried the cheats again around that time and I've been fine since, my point was specifically about the part where you get given a new toy and being stuck on that training mission.

could you be more specific, i dont care about spoilers, what toy are you refering too, and what exaclty do i need to avoid, ive alreasdy maxxed out my skills before finishing the mission to get my crew back, and have upgraded my starter gear.

Im about to start playing again, should i load na earlier save before upgrading? it took me nearly an hour just to get through the stupily large skill tree.

I can also throw in my confirmation that the "Collect Max Items" options crashes the game. I have noticed, though, it is ONLY when you are picking up items you are supposed to only have 1 of. Weapons/Armor for example. If you know you are picking up weapons/armor/quest item, turn the feature off and no crashing.

does anyone else game just sit at the loading screen?
