Well with it being a CDPR game i am sure they'll open up some form of redkit mod system like they did with the witcher titles,
worst comes to it im sure it'll be tied into nexusmods for easy installs
The trainer side of things is what will bug me as i'll have to wait for another distribution option to be funded so i can actually have a mess around due to steam possibly being the default platform the staff and coders choose
I think the need of waiting for another platform to be funded will be dependent on the nuances of making a trainer for this particular game. Often times trainers intended for one platform work just fine on others, like the Witcher 3 trainer working for Steam, GOG and Origin. That won't necessarily be the case here, but it could be.
Just as a note if anybody buys a physical PC copy it will be tied to GOG not steam sadly,
Only just found this out after dropping £250 on the collectors edition lol
It will be on steam as well so you know.
GOG is better so whats the issue?
This doesn't typically matter; they almost always do Steam first because it's the most used. I pre-ordered on GOG knowing this would be the case.
Someone has graciously donated BOTH the Steam and GOG versions of the game to us. We will make the trainer for STEAM first and then see if it's compatible with GOG. If not, then we will see what it will take to make it work with GOG. We still have no idea if the game has anti-cheats or other protection we haven't seen before or how the data is structured, etc so no idea how long it will take to even make the STEAM trainer. So, I don't want to speculate about too much at this point.
Thanks All for the generosity to the CH Team and PWizard! We appreciate it!
