Torchlight III Message Board  

The trainer was working fine until this morning. When I hit F1 to activate it I get the following message:
12:03:31: Torchlight III, 02-04-2021 (STEAM)
12:04:35: Successfully attached to Frontiers-Win64-Shipping
12:04:36: Collect Pet Base, Script error in line 3: Cannot find aob for 'Collect_Pet'

I went through the steps above to delete everything from Cheathappens, rebooted my computer and installed a new version of the trainer and got the same issue. Any advice?

Please delete the trainer, custom keys, debug folder where the trainer resides and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values. This typically will resolve the issue.

This cleaner is also part of the new Cheat Happens Trainer Manager 2.0, it is found in the settings and has an easy to use one button click feature.


Though I do see the game patched today so if the above does not resolve, then the trainer will need to be updated.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

I can confirm that as of the new update on 3/17/2021, the current trainer from 2/4/2021 no longer works. You get a verbal "Failed" when trying to activate the trainer. It was working properly and I had been using it every day up until that point.

I have submitted an update request along with fellow members. Just wanted to post this to confirm that the issue is the new update, not a computer issue.

So just wondering if this will be updated to reflect it being added to gamepass?

Only if enough people request it, though the trainer make work with GP as is, just need someone to try it once updated.

To submit a request for a new distribution platform, please use our trainer requests system. Once at least 5 people request the same distribution, it will be available for funding. Please do NOT use the trainer option request system to request new platforms as they will be denied. Premium members at any level may request a new distribution as long as it’s done through the normal request system.

Trainer does not work properly, also game crashes.
All time receive error from Steam after crash.
Fallowed all recommendations for Trainer files cleaning.
Trainer - Torchlight III, 03-18-2021 (STEAM) in debug shows that everything is working, but in game options 1-4 and edit options does not.

had try the latest update on game pass, trainer cannot find game path.

already been request trainer new platform...

I also requested for a Game Pass version.
