What is the point of being able to edit coins if its just cosmetic? Is you set yourself to 100000 coins you still can't purchase anything...
Don't yet know who else has tested it or what steps they have followed so it might not be but it does look like the actual values are entirely server side so it might be that the developers patched the game which deliberately or inadvertently stopped the option from working or that when the trainer was developed it wasn't noticed.
If others want to try testing it and post what steps they took just so we can be sure, no need to waste the time of the CH team until we know it doesn't work. If after testing by a few of us we can confidently say it doesn't work then we can put in a request for a trainer update but if it is indeed all stored server side then all the CH team will be able to do is remove that option from the trainer.
I don't know if anyone has tried gaining coins by using the trainer option for XP. You get a load of blue coins when you level up so that might be a way around it.
Thank you so much but will this help me unlock all the superstars and everything that is locked or not????
If you're talking about the **** you buy from the store, then no. The coins and blue tokens are purely visual only. It's currently assumed that the data is server side and therefore what you see when the values are changed are purely aesthetics.
So glad I didn't buy it then. I just wanted to have a fun time with friends, not spend forever unlocking stuff. Thanks for the heads up.
To be fair you start with a pretty decent group of characters and you get lots of blue coins from game play. I've played the game for 4 hours and have unlocked all the characters from the in-game store and a number of their alternate attires and to be honest some of the characters I've unlocked I'm probably never going to play as.
Ah ok. So it isn't an insane grind like other games?

You can send a screenshot to the developers and ask them why you can't buy anything with the coins you have.
You can also ask them why the game forces you to buy more coins to buy things in a game you already paid for.
you can also, which happens a lot, wait for the game to probably drop it's server, then the coins will work. But that might not be until the developers have milked every dollar out of you by then.
If we need to remove the coins option because the developers have moved all the checks for this online on their server to milk more money out of you, then let me know.
best,
Cal
Hey cal.
Ive tested it a few times so far, and reported on the discord about the currency values not affecting the values.
Even done it offline mode.
Dont think it recongises the edit
From what I understand, all currency values seems to be server-side. So not much can be done about it.
