Been having this issue for a while. my system has always had 'disagreements' with trainers anyway.
Strangely, what I found works to get Webroot 'over' the problem is a mixture of persistence, and restarting the computer after doing everything else. For whatever reason, trying a bunch of times, with the exclusions set up, then rebooting, seems to unjam something in the system.
I uninstalled Webroot and am trying ESET NOD32. Its EXCELLENT, catches even more bad things and does not interfere with trainers other things once you tell it not to. Im on the 30 day trial but NO MORE problems with trainers now. NO MORE WEBROOT! Been using it for years but now gonna pay up when my 30 day subscript for nod32 comes due
New Update
Had another session at webroots request. We may have found a fix the trainer we were using as our test was generation zero. As of right now it has been running without crashing.
To try this out and see if it works do the following.
Open Webroot. Go to advanced settings. Click the shields tab. Then uncheck Prevent interruption. Should be the first check box.
That worked for me.
