Hello all. Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying follow camera defect that it walways wants to surf the ground while you walk, no matter how you set it on settings? Like when you choose angle, distance and height of camera, it still wants to surf the ground making it almost impossible to see where you are going...?

Do you mean that it's not centered to the player or it's not high enough?
I hate the combat camera, how it starts wandering around aimlessly and zooms in and out. The camera settings they added in the remaster make it a lot better but it's still frustrating and really unintuitive. If you have the setting "auto-follow" maybe try turning it off. I saw the setting on some streams but I don't have the setting for some reason.

If the "surfing camera" seems like a bug and adjusting the camera settings won't fix it, you could try asking people in the discord channel for the game: www.discord.gg/amalur

is anyone else having an issue with item scaling stopping at level 20? I edited the xp to get myself to level 40 but all of the scaled items, even in the DLC seem to cap out at 20.

Just because you max out your level, does not mean the area will scale with you. Probably only drops items to a certain level, in different map areas. The achievement for "Out of Your League"(Killed an enemy 4 levels higher than you.) leads me to believe that is the case.

Each area has a min and max level, the level of the area is set upon entering. Unlike the original, the level is set each time you enter an area again so you don't have to worry about locking half the game to its min level by exploring. However, DLCs all have the full range (1-45(40 being the max gear level while 45 being max enemy scaling).

Because of this I decided I would test the issue in the DLC, where I discovered that all the gear is maxing out at 20, despite enemies clearly being stronger then level 20. I'm uncertain if this is a glitch caused by changing the XP, or one that's from the base game itself.
