    I have the steam version of this game, it finds the game but I can't activate it

    here is the error I'm getting can anyone help me please

    14:13:02: Battletoads, Original (STEAM), Last modified: 01/01/0001 00:00:00
    14:13:03: Controller connected
    14:13:04: Successfully attached to Battletoads
    14:13:06: Connecting to mono pipe failed
    14:13:06: battle, Script error in line 3: 'Frogspawn.Combat.CombatCharacterState:ReceivedDamage+24' is 0 or not a valid address
