No don't remove it. Every game nowadays has some online integration. It's the maker's responsibility to stop cheaters. Don't screw single players out of all trainers because of stuff like this.
My real concern is if these are working in career mode? And are they messing up scripted events in career?

Once requests are done and fully funded/voted on, then they look at it to see if it's possible and fulfill it if possible . Due to the crazy work loads and demand for new trainers and updates, the programmers don't have the time to drop everything and see if something can be done.

You still have to hit the ball to the hole, so it wont speed the tour up at all, it just adjust the score.
