Since the unlimited item option allows you to plugin multiple power cells I was able to unlock everything.
According to the walkthrough, it should show up as a reward box? I didn't see it in the inventory.
Anyone else encounters the same problem?

You cannot complete the quest with the infinite item use, because part of the quest is picking up the different cells so it will not complete the quest even when you pick up the armor. I did the same thing and the quest stayed at 1/2 cells gathered. The armor is a quest reward not just an item pick up.

Yup, exactly what nalkrien said. It isn't an issue with this trainer specifically. If you edited your inventory to give yourself all the cells needed and then tried it on the PS4 version you would get the same result (I know because I tried exactly that).
Edit: There was an exploit of sorts though in the original PS4 game where you could get one of the late game cells early on by jumping on an invisible ledge that shouldn't have been there. I wonder if that made its way into the PC port.

Quick question - if I completed all the steps using the trainer option, and without the additional power cells, is the quest FUBARed? Ie it won't progress normally when I collect the additional cells?
Just wondering if I should restore to an earlier save or continue on.

Probably fubared, only way to test this is collecting the remaining batteries and see what happens.

Last night, I was able to glitch ALL of the power cores and I just got done w/ the revenge quest, and Yes, it does work. The hardest one to glitch is at The Grave-Hoard, I had to get... creative to do that one. PS the armor for being high end tech of the metal world kinda sucks when you're playing on anything higher then normal. it just blocks 1 and a half hits on very hard.

I know how to get the All-Mother's Mountain cell early and how to glitch the Gaia Prime cell, but how did you glitch Maker's End and the Grave-Hoard?
