Trainer seems to affect all units including enemies and makes progression impossible as everyone is immortal.
THe "mouse over unit" commands simply affect all units in the field, even unmoused over, and when disabled take all buffs away from the unit selected.
Essentially nothing can be edited without making it impossible to advance in the game/battle which last forever.
Instructions were followed by the letter and it is odd that it works this way, but for me it was impossible to play.
impossible...
the only way this would happen is if you set a value to 999, then lock it, then mouse over things.
that's not the intention of the trainer.
You are SUPPOSED to be able to mouse over the enemy, then set their health low.
You misunderstand how the trainer editor is to be used.
Don't lock values.
best,
Cal

Ok, I never locked the padlock on any item. I figured what is going on.
The mouse over troop option, works ok, however, when you then click to attack an enemy with the troop selected before, you apply those bonuses over the enemy as technically it is a "mouse over" to click to attack.
At least that is what is happening to me.
The only way I got around it is, enable trainer, start game, use options, when done with all your troops, close trainer, so when you click to attack an enemy you will not superpower him too.
That is, shut down the trainer completely after each start of battle, else you enable the enemy whenever you put the mouse over it to attack it.
That is what is happening with me anyway.
Trainer will not stop to apply values whenever I mouse over an enemy...
Having the same issue. The mouse over method is not very good and will also boost enemy units, even if you don't mouse over them. It's very weird implementation, but not usable in the combat. Hopefully a better method will be found.
Glad to hear it, so now I am sure I am not going nuts.
Have a great Sunday all!
