Could the crashing when you use the trainer be related to the additional telemetry they supposedly implemented with patch 1.02?

Trainer is working fine for me and the game is not crashing after about three hours of continuous playtime. Perhaps some other program running on the system might be the cause

So I closed all programs and went into offline mode.
I played for about 2h before the first crash, but that could simply be the game itself again.
After that I played a few hours like I normaly do (online, antivirus, ect) before the next crash occured.... maybe it was just a freak incident or I turned off some telemetry by going into offline mode

It will be both. They fixed some crash-causes last week with a small Patch.
But Guerilla already stated, they haven't fixed all the crash-bugs yet.
They announced another fix-patch for this week.
I myself get some crashes here and there, so... Let's hope they fix the Rest.
It's important, you do the quick-sending for the crash-reports. They are working with the Informations they got with that function.

Played for 7 hours without any crash and activated trainer.
Next day I played with "steam big picture" mode and trainer and the game crashed in few minutes. After leaving Big-Picture-Mode I was able to play another 7 hours without any interrupt! 🙂

Could It cause trouble/problems when sending crashlog with activated trainer?

I used the trainer last night, played for an hour or so and no issues. Today, I can't even get the trainer to launch, Its also something with this trainer in particular as I opened up multiple trainers for other games and had no issues. Tried virtually everything I can think of but still no use, won't open for me.

Each of your trainers for this game have worked incredibly well with my system. I did have to make sure my graphics card was properly updated (twice on a 2080), but once that was done, all went perfectly! What a pleasure! Thanks again for your awesome work!! 🙂

The opposite is the case.
I contacted Guerilla befor I started using the Trainer and asked about the fact, that a Trainer could be used to reproduce the crashes.
I asked, if it is "allowed" in some kind.
They stated, that everyone is free to use 3rd party-Programms on theyr own risk and yes, it could help if you use the Trainer to reproduce crashes.
Also, If the crash-report sends them informations about using a trainer depends on, which kind of report you choose. If you have chosen the FULL REPORT, there CAN be some informations what the trainer did and that some kind of 3rd party-programm involved. but no futher informations.
If you took the "normal" report-version, there will only be the crash-cause without any further infos.
BUT: they wont restore any save files if the save or the game is breaking because of the use of a trainer.
And they gave me the hint, that most crashes ar Memory-Errors and that they are still looking into the reports. They plan to release another fix this week.
