I am going to be honest with you guys, this game uses DLSS on RTX cards amazingly, 1440p looks like 4k on it with just a slight blur compared to 4k native. It does an amazing job at Adaptive Sharpening, Antialiasing etc the game looks much better for it, and not only that because it is using Tensor cores in the latest 2.0 revision, the frame rate increases as the workload is being effectively halved from the main the core, and it also helps keep temps down also.
On my 2080ti I had no difference in performance between 1440p and 4k with DLSS on, it does look amazing on 4k though, so anyone with a 2080 or less will be able to play it on 1440p but think its 4k.
With the 3x00 family coming soon, prices for the 2x00 family could drop by a lot. So consider getting an RTX card near the holidays if there is good deals happening, because more and more developers are utilising DLSS now. And to be blunt AMD have no alternative to it.
I can only agree.
I just boguht a brand new laptop with an RTX card inside of it and I can the game with 120hz on everything max without a dip in performance.
I am so happy DLSS is a godsend for sharp images granted if you are used to 4k gaming on a Desktop or hig end rendered 1440p then you do notice the differenc ebut it gets really close to perfection.
