I've also noticed the Unlimited Items option doesn't keep the currently selected item in the inventory, but replaces it instead. For example, equipping a climbing rope stored on the suit still uses up the rope and adds another one on the equipment rack when unequipped. In my case, it replaced the PCC tool on the equipment rack, which was moved the back storage, leaving a shoulder spot where the rope originated open. Same thing happened with a ladder.
I don't know if this is a problem, necessarily, or if this is just the way the trainer functions.
The game uses an actual creation deletion of objects mechanism. Unfortunately that means setting a value to something like 9 doesn't make it happen like you think. THe game is tracking each object, it's weight, etc.
I did the best I could with it, especially in time crunch working on the game for 16+ hours.

Perhaps later or an update some things like Unlimited Bandwith etc can be added, certain things unlock the further you go in the game, so obviously some options wont be available right away
I tried for a long time to isolate without finding it. I think it's hardcoded and tied to your level (the stars on the bottom).
It's probably doable but I ran out of time.

Quite possible, however I managed to dirty edit my save file to increase bandwith in a specific region, as soon as I went up a porter level it reset to what it should be.
And like you I had a good look, knowing what I know above, I was looking for some math/s for the porter level that affects the bandwith #, couldn't find it.
I might look later.
EDIT: Brain Wave happened, why max it when you can set the current used total to 0?

I tried to set to zero, seems to track each object over and over and add them up one by one. Maybe there is a way to set the "cost" to 0 but so far I have not been back to the game. I have 5 new game titles and updates for EAC bypass for Breakpoint and other things. This game is important but it cannot tank the site's other needed work.

That makes sense. Like I said, I didn't know if it was an actual problem or not. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I appreciate it.
