Does anyone have the same problem as me?
When I use the trainer and then use the scanner it can't locate anything if I'm not very close to it.

turn off Instant Scanner Recharge.

Hovering over the information icon under "Force Available Upgrades" says "Toggle this on and you may be able to upgrade even if you don't have the right materials. May not work for all locations and situations."
I imagine this means you can upgrade structures you built without carrying the necessary materials.

Force Available Upgrades --> you only need 1 of the upgrade material in order to make it work. Get yourself the the small containers (x50) and enjoy.
