The way around the proficiency upgrade problem, is that you have to first view your weapon proficiency's for kirito in the menu all of them should be 9999 after you activate the cheat. After viewing the screen it should unlock the other skills, that's what i did to make it work any way.
Could you word that a bit better for me?
So like
Click proficiency
Activate cheat
Go back
Click proficiency again
Disable cheat
Is that what you are saying?
all I did to make it work is i activated the cheat, looked at the skills, i realized the skills where still locked, looked around and found the weapon proficiency screen opened it and went back to the skill tree and they where unlocked.
Also make sure to enter 9999 in the trainer for the desired proficiency value befor you activate the cheat

Nope it still stops me from buying skills, also when I activate it it goes back to 1000, no idea why it worked for you ☹

That still doesnt work for me, maybe i am doing something wrong.... Please make a video on how to do it?
Here is a video of me replacing the launcher with ours and then running the game from Steam as the instructions state and it working just fine.
