Caliber and others,
I think the issue (at least for me) is that the Venice add on is a separate campaign which I cannot see any way to access the OG content when running the admittedly default Venice option.
When I installed via Uplay, it added two separate launch Icons one for Venice and one for Anno 1404, if there is an independent trainer or an option to fund one can I request a link to that section, please. While I sympathise with Knight_empire, I think an apology should be issued to Pwizard and Caliber as it may not be immediately apparent to others that they appear to be two separate games.
Thank you for your wonderful services via this website and your time
Yes. It turned out to be two separate games. I was very surprised myself. But I understand the developers. It doesn't make sense for them to do two different trainers without raising funds through requests. And so Yes, it would be super to have trainers for both games. The plot in the main game is interesting.
By the way, I want to make a request for a trainer for the main game. Join us!
If you can show me where the funding takes place I'd gladly put my credits along side.
You need:
1) click on the link www.cheathappens.com/requests_submit.asp,
2) there, under the Game Title field, write Anno 1404 - History Edition (Main Game), select the Uplay platform and tick the checkbox (I understand the requirements for using this form. I understand that 100 credits will be subtracted from my balance and put towards this request.)
After that, you will be debited 100 RC and still have to wait for 3 people, as I have already done)))
I understand but It's the last time that I trust you. I almost take a lifetime plus this morning to ask more options but I don't want anymore. I've understand that you'll do the minimum for this game. The only time that I use my credits and I have a half-work with the minimum option. Oki I understand.

LOOK. The game comes WITH the addon already included. In fact, it's THE TOP THING that you can launch. The instructions specifically state this.
Go to STEAM.
Select Game.
Press PLAY.
LITERALLY the TOP SELECTION is:
Play Anno 1404 - History Edition
and it's selected by default. Click that.
You are running Anno 1404 - History Edition AS they intended and AS default.
The trainer was made for that.
If people want to fund the other game, which is separate .exe then you will have to get with Chris about funding it. The other option to run the game is NOT the default, and says PLAINLY:
Play Anno 1404 - History Edition (start without addon)
The "addon" is built into the game and is the default launch. If I DID THE OTHER (without addon), then way more people would be complaining that it doesn't work for THAT.
Can't win here..
And it is possible to add more functions, such as in Anno 1800 - Unlimited Resources (Include ALL resources) and Unlimited Resources on transfer, but that it would work as in the anno 1800 itself. And then it turns out that it works and only for what is already there. and if this is not enough or not enough for the structure, then that's it.
