Not sure if it's the trainer, but i can't get the game checkpoint my progress, and when i die i revert back way back, almost to the beginning of the mission.
I'm using Unlimited Shields, Unlimited Ammo, No Reload, Unlimited, Unlimited Energy Weapons Ammo, No Energy Overheat Energy Weapons and Unlimited Grenades.
I was on the 1st mission as Arbiter, and while i died, i lost over 15-20 minutes of progress.
Also noticed that Unlimited Grenades gave me Frag Grenades too, maybe that cause that game not to Checkpoint progress.
I can confirm that this is indeed bug after latest update, since many others that play the game have gotten same problems in missions, that game progress is not checkpointed anymore, some even had to start missions all over from the start.
So this has nothing to do with trainer, rather with broken game update.
I have most of the MCC on Steam except Halo 2 but have Gamepass and access to it through UWP. However, how is one meant to use the trainer on the UWP version? The files are protected and I can't view them even as admin so how can I override the EAC executable to the replacement you provide with the trainer?
You can't, only Steam versions are able to do that.

Actually, it is possible to do it.
I never done this since I use Steam. My GoogleFu show there is a way to disable the EAC other than Steam. In non-Steam version, there will be two separate program, one with EAC and other with EAC disabled. If the user want to play the game without EAC, they need to look for "Halo: MCC anti-cheat disabled" in Start Menu. This shortcut will run the game without EAC.
