Game seems to be updated to ver 10.4

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
So no issues with the trainer, but was just wondering if anyone knew why when I use the trainer to launch the game, the game starts, and then closes out? I figured it must be something with the game and the epic launcher, maybe some kind of authentication thing. I have to go in and launch the game through Epic and it works fine. I'd like to launch from the trainer, but i'm sure there is something I am missing to do so.
You can set the games path and launcher settings in the settings tab of the trainer, but it may be a requirement of the game to launch through Epic.
It must be Epic than. I haven't changed anything for paths and such, and it does launch, starts to load to the black screen with the tire loading icon, but right before the main menu pops up, it just exits. must be some kind of authentication thing with Epic.

Okay, Trainer Manager keeps on wanting to download version 8.0 not 10.0 It's really something else. I've tried everything Including downloading 10.0 directly from the trainer page, yet the manager still shows it's outdated. Any tips?
re-download the trainer now.
