Might be your save, try it on a new game. I'm about out of ideas, may need to submit a support ticket for a possible Teamviewer session so we remotely have a look first hand.
Starting a new save worked this time.

Starting a new save worked this time.
Now that it worked you can try it again on the old save, but if it still fails then that save may be toast and need deleting.
I am having a similiar issue. I tried a new save. Every time I activate the trainer, and it says activated, and I press the back button to open the map, the game crashes instantly. Problem is there isnt any game error code. Just a picture of the ori animal with an exclamation mark and thats it. Its weird.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Verify the game files and/or re-install it. Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Have both latest CORE Link (Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64) and FRAMEWORK Link from Microsoft.

The trainer still doesn't work on that save, but the game plays just fine using it sans trainer.
